New Normal

There are times in my life when I find it easiest to avoid confrontation, to sit back and let things happen - if you get involved it could get messy. Today I think I took a step forward in life, started a new chapter...insert your own euphemism here. I was tired of being 'polite', I needed to share my thoughts and feelings and not feel like I'm second fiddle. Just occurred to me how many sayings we use in life...where do we pick them all up?! Anyway, today was a kind of graduation for me...an exhausting day but I think I'm better for it! Working towards a new normal...
